Heidegger's concept of "Das Haus des Seins" ("the house of Being") refers to language as the dwelling place where Being reveals itself to human beings. He posits that through language, humans can access and understand the essence of existence. Language is not merely a tool for communication but a fundamental medium through which Being is disclosed. Heidegger emphasizes that our engagement with language shapes our perception of reality and our place within it. Thus, "the house of Being" underscores the intimate relationship between language and the unfolding of truth in human experience.

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov emphasized the spiritual and creative power of language. He believed that speech and language have the ability to shape reality and influence both the physical and spiritual worlds. He highlighted the importance of prayer, often expressed through language, as a means of connecting with the Divine. He also spoke of the need to purify one's speech, using it to uplift and bring goodness into the world. For Rabbi Nachman, language was not just a means of communication, but a sacred tool for transformation and spiritual elevation.

And yet, both thinkers had a tendency to leave language behind. Both felt it was an obstacle, as well as a vehicle. Heidegger recognized language as both a revealing and concealing force. While he saw language as the "house of Being," where truth is disclosed, he also acknowledged that language can obscure and distort understanding. And the Hassidic tradition Nachman was part of emphasised non verbal experience as the keyy to experiencing the divine, rather than the verbal pilpulim of both Mitnagdim and Maskilim.

In the end, both felt we would need to leave behind you in order to reach the deeper, more relevant truths about life and existence.
